Workshops 2012
An introduction to a process oriented approach to palliative care.
This seminar is of interest to staff, care givers, volunteers, family members and all those interested in caring for the dying and can be adapted to your specific needs.
Objectives:
- To bring increased awareness to the various stages of illness and dying
- To explore personal beliefs and attitudes that we bring to death and dying
- To teach methods of supporting those who are dying including verbal and non-verbal communication
- To develop confidence in connecting with the dying and assisting them with their inner processes.
